Born in Wageningen, rooted in Utrecht. After studying Communication Sciences, followed by training as a radio producer, there was naturally only one career path ahead: kitchen fitter.
Jelle Brouwer is a talented stand-up comedian who leads many lives alongside his comedy career. He hosts events, performs in comedy clubs and shamelessly – but with great pleasure – points out gaps in his fellow humans’ knowledge of everyday topics.
During his Comedy Walk, Jelle takes you to Utrecht’s hidden gems, where he shares his perspective on Utrecht and its residents in a hilarious way. His razor-sharp intuition for the local scene ensures that, during his Comedy Walk, you’ll feel and act like a local – even if you actually are one.
About the artist
Jelle is a comedian and MC in comedy clubs, a regular member of the Comedyhuis comedy club in Utrecht, a presenter and master of ceremonies at events, a finalist at the Groningen Student Cabaret Festival in 2023, a semi-finalist at Cameretten in 2025, MC Jingle Jells at (cheesy) parties, unofficial wedding officiant (only for fun couples) but, above all, a real life-lighter.
