Rachel is a cheerful British comedian – which is rather rare these days, ever since Brexit. She’s a well-known comedian on the English-speaking stand-up comedy scene in Amsterdam and Utrecht. Rachel is the proud owner of Mad Cow Comedy and regularly organises an English-language stand-up comedy show on Sundays at De Utrechter in Utrecht. In her comedy, she observes Dutch culture and customs from a typically British perspective, which leads to hilarious anecdotes.
Rachel’s British perspective on Dutch culture and customs takes centre stage in her Comedy Walk. Her in-depth analysis of the Dutch education system will have you in tears – of laughter, that is. Her conclusion: with a few exceptions, the Dutch aren’t doing too badly after all!
About the artist
Rachel Morton-Young is a British comedian, presenter and public speaking expert, based in the Netherlands. She performs throughout the Netherlands and Europe, where she entertains audiences with her sharp humour and unique perspective.
She has performed at various festivals, including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and regularly hosts comedy shows that blend humour, social interaction and storytelling.
In January 2023, Rachel founded Mad Cow Comedy. Based in Utrecht, she organises and hosts an international comedy show every two weeks.
